Roger Jensen comes to Miller O'Brien Jensen after
practicing for more than 35 years with the firm Jensen,
Bell, Converse & Erickson and four years as a Marine
Corps JAG officer. He represents clients in all
aspects of labor and employment law and has been
counsel to multiple Twin Cities suburban municipalities.
His experience includes counseling clients, state
and federal court litigation, appeals, arbitrations,
administrative hearings, and negotiations.
In addition to his practice, he has been called on
frequently as a lecturer on labor, employment, and
municipal law issues. He has held leadership roles in
bar association and various civic organizations as
well as doing pro bono legal work for veterans and
nonprofits.
For many years Roger has been recognized as a
Minnesota "Super Lawyer" by Minnesota Law
& Politics and by the publication Best Lawyers
in America.
In 2011, the Labor and Employment Law Section
of the Minnesota Bar Association selected Roger
for the Leonard Lindquist Distinguished Practice
Award in recognition of his service to his clients,
the bar and to the community.
With his wife Sarah, Roger resides in St. Paul.
They have two adult children and seven grandchildren.
